The Holyfield fight is a possibility.

Don King says the same. Saurland says he was approached by Holyfield and has been working on it.

Anyway, what I've previously said about this (possible) fight still goes.

Valuev's people know that the bad publicity and ridicule would outweigh any benefits of fighting Holyfield. Thank God for that. If Evander got badly hurt fighting this freak, boxing might not recover.

I just noticed that Valuev no longer has a scheduled December bout per Boxrec. Did this bout get scrapped? As painful as Valuev is to watch, I find myself looking forward to watching his fights...

I really hope they don't fight. Holyfield doesn't need to fight anymore. No boxing commission should allow him to fight. It's a shame.

Holyfield the champ

Hello, I have been a Holyfield fan for 22 years. I am not about to leave his "camp" now. I would love it if he won the title back. It would be such an inspirational story. Could he win? Sure he could. Although I'm not sure how you get beyond those telephone pole arms of that 7'0 monster.
