In protecting his career he's smart. lol He's f.uckin brilliant in that aspect.

But in the Ring he's raw speed and power, but anytime someone puts good leather on him, just like every other fight that happens to...he becomes a completely different fighter. And because of that, I think thats why they choose all these older, slower, and what appears to be "ineffective" opponents for Manny. But I think Oscar is gonna have that "Juan Manuel Marquez" effect on Manny. Just like Juan, Oscar's older and doesn't look like he can be that effective anymore...when he will infact put some leather on Manny. A smart fighter will always be a smart fighter, just aslong as he's not completely shot. Manny learned that from fightin Juan, and I'm fairly positive Manny will learn that with Oscar..lol It might even be a more brutal lesson with Oscar based on the size difference.
