I really, REALLY would like to see this fight go down. Am I the only one who actually thinks Oscar could potentially give Margarito a run for his money? Yeah he's tough, but so is Oscar. The man's got a grade A chin, he's taken shots from fighters bigger than Margs before.

As much as I want Mosley to win the fight against Margarito, I would have no problem with him losing IF DLH fought Margarito at 147.

You know the kind of guy Oscar is, when someone challenges his pride, he feels the need to respond. Now he's doing the Pac fight to make money and put his and boxing's name back out there, which you can't really blame him for. But, I think that once this whole Pac-Man charade is over, Oscar will get pissed off with all the bull**** Margarito's said about him and sign to fight him for Cinco De Mayo weekend.

oscar is a smart guy, he knows what he can do and what he can't..he knows that by him taking this fight against pacquiao it'll show the world that he can still beat the best, and believe me he will knockout pacquiao in 6 or 7 rounds..after beating pacquiao it will put de la hoya in the top 10 p4p which then would lead to a vargas type showdown with margarito (everybody thought oscar was ducking vargas too and the fight happened)..after oscar beats pacquiao and margarito beats mosley it will make the fight between oscar and margarito the biggest fight that could be made..and in my opinion oscar wins via UD or late tko..he is just too damn good of a technical fighter to lose to margarito..i mean oscar has a wayy better jab than cotto, a better chin than cotto, more power than cotto, more speed than cotto, and is an overall better boxer than cotto..and the first 8 or 9 rounds cotto was giving margarito a boxing lesson..so i have no doubt in my mind oscar will beat margarito, he has all the tools to do so, plus oscar has always knocked out pressure fighters, thats who he loves fighting..and he'll be able to pick off most of margaritos punches..oscar has only ever really had trouble with elusive fighters like floyd mayweather, pernell whitaker, and shane mosley..he loves fighting sitting ducks like mayorga and margarito

It's just negotiation leverage for what he's setting up with Hatton:
