    The End of Wednesday Night Fights on ESPN?

    BoxingScene.com has been advised by multiple sources that Disney, the parent company of ESPN, has made the order to drop the Wednesday Night Fights series, and to focus everything on the Friday Night Fights series in 2009. [details]

    If they make FNF year round that would not be a bad idea, if they don't that's some bull*****.

      I don't think I would mind that too much.

      I REALLY hope they get a world title fight on there again at some point... I miss seeing that kind of **** on ESPN.

          Yeah, as long as FNF are significantly strengthened as a result it may not be a bad idea.

            Agreed guys if FNF's is then upgraded as far as funds leading to better fights than COOL and then maybe Versus could do like WNF's on a consistent basis.

            On the flip side if FNF's is not given more money to put on better fights and they decided to just cut WNF's then you gotta ask yourself how long till they cancel FNF? That would SUCK for Boxing if that was to happen!
