Trinidad-Mosley was bad timing also. Trinidad spending 2000 at 154, then leaving 154 for the middleweight tournament. Mosley had just risen to stardom (or semi-stardom) in June 2000 with his win over DLH at 147. I forgot the exact details of the negotiations, or talk, of this fight happening after Trinidad in late 2003 announced he would come back (his first fight being in Oct 2004). Mosley was supposed to fight Mayorga, but Mayorga lost to Spinks at the end of 2003. Mosley then lost to Wright. I suppose a fight could've been made if Mosley had not lost to Winky.

Whitaker-Randall? Randall was at 140 during the mid 90s, and Whitaker at 147. Randall was also a King fighter, and I don't think Whitaker and his team were too happy to deal with King and his fighters after their experiences.

Casamayor became champ at 130 in 2000. Mayweather wasn't too active in 2000 (one title fight, one non-title bout), and was being criticized for his outside the ring problems affecting his ring activity. In 2001, he faced the recognized top threat at 130 in Diego Corrales, then defended against Hernandez and Chavez. I suppose this fight could've happened later in 2001 instead of PBF's aforementioned fights and Casa's defenses against Santana and Joe Morales, but unfortunately it never materialized. Mayweather left 130 after the Chavez fight, citing weight problems.
Thankz. I REALLY wanted to know

I'm still a bit SAD. I would have LOVE to see James Toney vs B-Hop

Bowe-Lewis. Would've been the biggest fight in history of heavyweight division, goddamn Rock Newman. 1993 would've been the year for it and it didn't happen. Guess in 95 they tried to do it but Lewis lost to McCall's lucky ass.

            Fights I wished happened:

            Eusebio Pedroza-Salvador Sanchez in 1981-82
Floyd Mayweather-Miguel Cotto in the last 2-3 years
Lennox Lewis-Rid**** Bowe in the mid 90s (especially 1993)
Roberto Duran-Antonio Cervantes in the mid 70s (when Carlos Eleta ruled it out)
Roberto Duran-Ken Buchanan 2: I thought Duran kicked Ken's ass for the most part, but given the ending, I wished Ken had at least gotten a rematch.
            Kostya Tszyu-Shane Mosley in 1999
Felix Trinidad-Ike Quartey in 1998 (when the fight got cancelled)
            Felix Trinidad-Pernell Whitaker in 1995
Ike Quartey-Oscar De La Hoya 2
Pernell Whitaker-Oscar De La Hoya 2
            Salvador Sanchez-Azumah Nelson 2
            Ray Robinson-Charley Burley
            Michael Moorer-Virgil Hill in 1989
            Roy Jones-Nigel Benn/Frankie Liles/Chris Eubank/Darius Michalczewski

Sanchez died while the fight was being talked about, Duran decided to move up to welterweight instead of staying at lightweight to fight Arguello.

Cotto/Hatton, when Cotto could make 140 this fight had potential. I think Cotto would have won by knock-out. Hatton gets hit too cleanly.

Neither Tszyu or Judah were ranked in the Ring's top 10 during Mosley's reign at lightweight.

Mosley vs Trinidad was just bad timing, Mosley moved up to welterweight when Trinidad moved up to 154, Mosley moved up to 154 when Trinidad was retired.

Jones said he was the man back then so he didn't want to travel overseas to fight Calzaghe when he was the man, Calzaghe, or Frank Warren, I'm not sure who didn't want to leave Wales or the UK.

Bowe came up while Tyson was in prison, he called Tyson out a few times around 1995 but then he became a shot fighter so that didn't happen.

I would of loved to have seen Toney - Hopkins.

I would of liked a rematch between Jones and Hopkins also.
