Please someone translate this... i will give a solid point but is just to hard for me to translate in english.. so if someone can translate I'll appreciate.

PODEMOS HACERLO..... MI HERMANO CREEEME.. VA A RECIBIR EL 110% APOYO DE LOS BORICUAS... GANE O PIERDA....

PLEASE WHO EVER TRANSLATE THIS... I'LL GIVE 2K POINTS... thanks

          I translated the article, Mellow!

One of the reasons why Cotto and Santos don't receive the same support is because of the following. They fight for themselves. That's fine because they're the ones making the sacrifices.

But the thing is that Puerto Rico wants to identify themselves because their identity is hampered by the fact that they're under the rule of Spain and now the US.

In Puerto Rico, the US has established a system that has little by little diluted the integrity of the boricua (expression meaning "proud puertorrican"), the thought of YES I CAN. The US system has created a mentality of colonization that instills within puertorricans the thought of NO, WE CAN'T.

With this way of thinking with which the majority of puertorricans carry, puertorricans feel the necessity to have a hero that represents them and that is able to claim that they indeed can succeed.

It's for this reason that every time Puerto Rico has an achievement, whether it be sports, music or education, it gives great importance to the person representing us. Take out your flag and send the message that "Yes you can! Boricuas can succeed!"

This is a psychological effect within us. The rest of the world doesn't have this problem. Why? Because Puerto Rico is the only colony in the world for which during 500 years we have been told that we can't do anything.

It is because of this that those who represent the island and mentions the name of Puerto Rico..."We can...believe you me!" Those will receive 110% support from all the boricuas...win or lose.

          Great article, mellow!

          Gimme K, please!

I don't think it's right for PR to blame Cotto and Santos for their inferiority issues.

Cotto is doing his own thing so it's straight. If he were to pounce around and yell VIVA PUERTO RICO!!!, he'd be putting on an act. I dont like fighters who are fake like that.
