This is not surprising, I think Mosley will do pretty well in this fight.

The start of a Devastating Tornado

I hope this fight comes through. It definitely would be good for boxing, although everyone can see Mosley is losing his mojo. If the fight happens and Margarito wins- this will definitely shut up all the niave critics. Good feeling the Tornado is going to do some MAJOR DAMAGE in 2009. Arriba Tijuana Tornado!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

like the other guy said, Shane is one crazy Stroker...he did beat Mayorga, but Mayorga is not the same as Margarito and it could be a very hard night for MOsely... Margarito is not going to let Mosely take shots at his chin, too show how tough he is, but rather will work shanes body and wear him down...i will agree Mosely has a decent chin but Forrest or Winky does not throw punches in bunches like Tony does... i like Shane but Margarito will KO or TKO Mosely inside 11 rounds... MOsely does not fight well off the ropes like Winky and after 7 rounds thats where he will be...GOod Luck Shane but if you dont get KOed it will be a moral Victory

Let's hope they put this on regular HBO. For Margarito, it could really raise his stock with the general public because SSM still has a name but for SSM I don't see the point, at this point he is a FADED fighter and I would hate to see him take a beating. For us fans it will be fun while it lasts thats for sure!

If Mosley can step in the ring with the same physical condition that he stepped up with Cotto; then we will get an even match up.
Age has already caught up with Mosley for some time. He fought well against Cotto considering his age and all, but even then, you saw how he fights different nowadays. He clinches a lot more. He held Cotto a lot. Older fighters can't maintain fast paces for as long.

The best game plan here for Mosley might be to use his speed and get off first, and then tie up Tony as quick as possible. It won't be pretty, but it may be his best shot. Otherwise, I don't think Mosley has enough in the tank left to beat Margarito in a fire-fight. As far as outboxing Margarito, well Mosley has some boxing abilties, but he's always been much more of a "speedy slugger" than a boxer anyway.

I would not count out Mosley in this one. But I think Margarito takes it.

Props to Mosley for wanting to face Marge even at this stage of his career but I do not see him winning this fight. I see Marge stopping him in the mid to late rounds. This will be a good tune up for the Cotto rematch.
