honestly, i am not excited at all about this fight, it means very little with margarito getting next to no credit if he beats mosley, margarito has little to gain in this and frankly im dissapointed this crap was even considered.

i didnt think this was going ahead when i saw the thread last night i thought sum1 had just bumped an old thread. Mosley needs not engage in this fight, he will sadly get cained. i dont care what anyone says he struggled against Mayorga and Marg will not plat about in his relentless attack on mosley. he has nothing else to prove, this is one of those fights people will look at and say had an adverse affect on his health

lied to this comment because both the Williams and CLottey matches won't be made before Marg takes on Cotto. Cotto and Marg is and will be the biggest fight in 2009. They eyed Mosely for one simple reason to set up a fight that on paper would look good and SSM has a name. Mosely looked bad against Mayorga but still knocked his A$$ out right? Mayorga was tying him up and turning his back the while night. I don't think and I will add somebody already pointed this out that Mosely was very excited about fighting Mayorga at 154. i think he was looking forward to PPV against Judah and then a big name fight after wards. Remember the Judah fight was supposed to take place on 5/31 this in my book would have left room for Mosely to have one more fight in 08..

I think Shane gets up for this fight and makes it tough for Marg to win over easily. If Shane shows up and is ready for it he takes it the full 12 rounds. The Marg COtto match si going to happen regardlless I agree on that. Seeing how they would have both foguth Mosely already if Mosely throws a monkey wrench in possibly a big money rematch for either Marg or Cotto with Moselly at the end of 09 who knows?? Still I think Mosely's last fight against Mayorga was garbage and we shouldn't judge him off that performance alone. I think Mosely is and has enough left to make it interesting against Marg. I would buy the fight regardless of the under card.....Lefty

I think it will be an interesting fight but imo mosley is a fair bit past his best.
