Yeah, Eubank had a great right hand, and IMO he scored some very impressive KOs with it. If not for the second fight with Watson, I think he would've won more fights by KO later in his career.

Benn was offered a fight with Nunn, but McClellan was a bigger payday for him so he took that instead.

I think McClellan is a better name to have on your record, IMO he was the better fighter at that point in time.

Eubank-Watson I was a bigger robbery. How Eubank got a decision in that fight is still a mystery to this day?
yea, Watson definately deserved the decision. I thought Benn won the rematch as well.

havent seen this fight with Schommer.

i personally dont think Eubank v Watson 1 was such a clear victory for Watson it was blown out of all proportion IMO because people disliked Eubank so much at that time and wanted him to get beat by the nice guy the people's champion Watson

if you score the fight Eubank wins the first 5 rounds easily Watson did not get going untill the second half of the fight the scoring was about right IMO Eubank only needed 6 rounds to get a draw and i had him taking 5 of the first 5 he won 4 of the first 5 rounds at the very least

I thought Benn won that fight as well and there was talk of a Nunn fight, I would have picked Nunn over Benn.

People are biased against Eubank because they hated him but I thought Benn won.

hey Silencers i can see both outcomes in this fight with Nunn v Benn but i think i would plump for Benn as i feel Nunn at that stage of his career did not cope well with preasure for what ever reason he did not use as much movement as before and he could be trapped on the ropes and could be outhussled as he was against Rocchigiani and i while i have not seen the Little fight i here he was outhussled in that fight when he lost the title

but then again Benn post McClellan did not have a lot left himself either so he could easily get outboxed by Nunn ,Benn seem to struggle with counter punchers who used the jab Malinga,Eubank so Nunn could of deffo beat him

Yeah Eubank Watson 1 was very close I think I had Watson by 1 point, the 2nd fight Watson had big lead before what happend to him, i would love to have seen Watson as champ and get a rematch with Benn and fight guys like Nunn and Toney.

At that point Benn wasn't that kind of pressure fighter anymore, he changed his style to become more of a boxer, he didn't go all out and pressure opponents, which is why I would have picked Nunn over him, Nunn is the better boxer of the two, a southpaw, slick, threw punches in bunches and was a very good counterpuncher, bad styles matchup for Benn.

Michael Watson was a better Boxer then Benn and Eubank.

i dont think it was so much a bad style match up for Benn

as you say he had adapted his game but IMO Nunn would still have found it difficult to defend himself from Benn's attacks because of that low rolling style Nunn would have struggled punching down IMO and he would had trouble seeing Benn's counters coming over the top due to his height etc i think the fight would be close than people think Benn was not the preasure fighter he was but he could still trap the less mobile Nunn on the ropes IMO and **** away
