I rate it 7, pending further evidence. His chin more than a little suspect against Taylor, but he did get up to win. That score could go up or down in future when we see more.

He seems to have a good chin, but not granite. He was hurt badly by Taylor, the same guy who didn't hurt 147/154 pounders Ouam and Spinks. But, was also never hurt by shots from Miranda. Solid chin, but not great imo.

Pavlik has a GREAT chin. I would say around 8.

My thoughts exactly...the answer why Taylor hutrt him and Miranda didn't Taylor hit him with a punch he never saw coming. He was a little bit more leary of Miranda's power and held his chin in a little bit tghter. he had more confidence against taylor thinking he could take his unches since he already tasted what he thought was the best taylor had to offer and Taylor hit him good square and rocked his nogging....Lefty

He seems to have a solid chin but I'm not certain how he would be able to take a flush punch from Abraham or Kessler.

I see Pavlik going out flat on his back against many of the past punchers since his defense is questionable although improving.

He gets his pretty often, took several bombs flush on the jaw against Miranda without even blinking. Taylor did have him hurt that one time though, so I think we need a few more fights to tell. Hopkins will check it for us a couple of times
