Pavlik don't have the greatest stamina, but it's damn good for a guy his size, especially cuz he throws a lotta hard punches in fights.

I think making the 160 weight limit effects both guys. Pavlik is like 6'3" and looks like a holocaust survivor, JT has a pretty big frame for 160

Completely agree. Throwing at the rate he does, with the FORCE he does for 12 straight rounds, never taking a round off - what would you call it? The kid is well conditioned.

Not great? Even if the guy stands right in front of you and is there to **** with you, you will still need stamina to throw 70-80 punches per round. Just because a punch don't connect don't mean you don't use any stamina. You are still throwing punches.

He still has good stamina, he didn't seem tired at all, his workrate just got neutralized by a great fighter.

It's not like Pavlik lost because he ran out of gas. He lost because he couldn't use any of that workrate, Hopkins was better than anyone expected and Pavlik wasn't crafty enough.

I did think that the extra weight would affect Pavlik's stamina but I'm not certain if it did, he just couldn't find anything. Hopkins wasn't there to be hit and when he was hit, Hopkins took it.
