De tigo halgo.. Yo y mis hijos voy a enseniar como representar mi gente. With education, stength and knowledge. Im not blaming no one, When the hater , be it White, Black, Mexican or whatever looks at me or checks my credentials I will be reppin my people with my education, my knowledge and my money. Anyone that concentrates on the tecato that stands on the street and ignores me in the penthouse, dont really like us anyway.

there's NOTHING wrong with living and liking USA, but being a rican wanting to be subjugates of the US is totally idiotic, no matter how you look at it. we're completely different races forcing ourselves to forget what we are to try to be part of them. they don't want anything from us except exploiting us in exchange of some ****ty federal aid. we wouldn't need any aid if we were proud of who we are and stopped living wanting to be people who, like you said, aren't superior to us. in any case, we're the same or even more successful individually than most americans, so lets do our **** by our own and be proud of being an independent country like EVERY country in the rest of the planet

Con todo el respeto pero es mui arrogante pensar que Puerto Rico seria differente que cualquier otro pais. Sin la ayuda de los Estados Unidos, PR estaria en la misma que todos los paises en Latino America.

No realmente, hay paises, Como Brasil,Argentina,Costa Rica,Chile que esta bastante bn.

The PPD seeks to remain a colony indefinitely, which IS by definition remaining subjugated by the USA. The PIP seeks independence. Blaming the subjugation on the PNP, or claiming that they seek to remain subjugated is beyond absurd, considering that they progressively seek a change in the status. It's all peaches/cream/and phat asses to declare that we should run **** on our own, but a greatly different animal to actually do it. Because of the "dead aid" that has been given without cost to the government, with substantial cost(s) to the populace, we've been plagued with countless corrupt and incompetently inept administrations. And we lack trade relations with neighbors like Cuba, Venezuela, and Hispanola, because the empire has forbid us to trade freely, especially with our embargoed neighbor cousin Cuba.

Brazil? Costa Rica? Argentina? No te quiero ofender pero esos paises estan mui mal en este momento. Brasil es uno de los paises mas pobres del mundo con una poblacion mas grande de sida. Argentina casi se queda quebrado y le debe un monton de dinero a Hugo Chavez en Venezuela. Chile realmente es el unico pais que no es tercer mundo pero eso es por el dinero que trajeron los Europeos despues que la segunda guerra mundial...

No offense to Puertoricans but I have to laugh when some of them wish the U.S would just leave them alone and let them run themselves. The mother of my child is from PR and her family tells me nothing but the corruption at the local level of Govt in PR, imagine if it didn't have the economic backing of the U.S?? Not a good thought.......

todo depende de como se distribuyan las riquezas

si te fijas, esos paises q dices q estan muy mal tienen un crecimiento economico increible anualmente. de hecho, PR es el pais latino con peor crecimiento economico actualmente... bajamos 4% anualmente. es imposible cambiar eso pq EEUU no permite q lo hagamos. controlan nuestra marina mercante, nuestras importanciones y exportaciones, etc
