      And what does the U.S. enforce the president to use it for?? That's right. Go ahead and deny it.

        If Cuba was getting the luxuries PR has, I bet it would be a bigger/better powerhouse than even PR.

          usually growing up in a slum gives you the right mindset to be a good fighter. pr would probably produce even more great fighters if they didn't get US money.

            cuba has a great amateur system because the arent allowed to turn pro. which hyped cuban boxer has turned pro and truly dominated in the states like a trinidad gomez or cotto. its possible but i doubt it from what ive see from these overhyped cubans who have been exposed on the big stage.

              Cuba will **** on everyone if they ever go pro. They have fantastic athletes, not just boxers. They are in the top 5 in amateur wrestling every year, Gamboa, Lara and Memo are coming up; there are a ton of baseball players from there too.

                really? i thought that desperation formed a big part of starting to box for most people

                most of the great athletes come from poor places/classes

                    it is ****** to complain about Puerto Rico being part of the United States. When United States has other island that are territories.

                    U.S. Territories and Outlying Areas
                    * American Samoa
                    * Federated States of Micronesia
                    * Guam
                    * Midway Islands
                    * Puerto Rico
                    * U.S. ****** Islands

                    Also there is an Island that it is a state
                    *Hawaii

                      Seriously no bull****. Not hating on Ricans but Cubans are some bad ass motherfuckers.

                      Cubans have tons of fantastic athletes. Even in the state they are in, they make noise. Now imagine if they were part of the U.S.?? No match at all.
