Have no bone to pick in this fight (I'd have to have John Duddy as my horse and have a feeling he'd be KOed by any top fighter from Mexico or Puerto Rico)-- but for the record, I know that Kermit Cintron was born in Puerto Rico but later had to be raised with his brothers by his Uncle in Warminster (outside Philly) following the death of both their parents where he was a terrific high school athlete-- a local wrestling champion. Its a great story of triumph over adversity (HBO did a nice story prior to Margo II) and why I'll be rooting for him next month when he beats Clottey.
Mexico, 22 vs Puerto Rico, 41 - Lets name the Fights

Dude had the nerve to say "Feel free to add so I could have my list completed"
Mind you he did a sick amount of editing to it.
Gave him some red karma and everything.Comment

If you want to count Margarito's win over cotto then Tito's win over oscar should count.
It seems that the subject of "Quality wins" is irrelevent in this head to head battle because Mexico's "Quality wins" Age a bit.
Still,Puerto Rico leads in world bouts by a **** load and the most important thing is this is an island vs a country.Last edited by roby_acer; 08-11-2009, 02:13 PM.Comment
