Fedor survived dedovshchina (hazing) in the Russian army, and according to him actively (and successfully) resisted it by beating the hell out of certain antagonists before he was even a professional fighter. That alone should tell you he's not someone to be messed with, in the ring or elsewhere. Combat sambo is more of a military martial art (i.e. self defense system, and killing-oriented) than anything else and Fedor is multi-time unrivaled world champion, as well as a former Russian judo champion.Last edited by Miburo; 10-05-2008, 11:43 PM.Comment

Both have very impressive physical tools.I mean it's not impossible for Tyson to end the fight quickly with a few big shots-to the lower body and then head.If this fight gets into the clinches though,it's difficult to see how Fedor can be stopped from taking it to the ground. So tentatively Fedor ,based on a rather superficial knowledge of him.
I wonder how a Fedor-Karelin, MMA rules match would pan out,though...
I've seen Tyson punch.I'd rather be missing a little cartilage than take a full-blooded shot from him, anyday.Comment

Tyson would just unload a barrage of punches and hurt Fedor and finish him off. After that he is going to bit of his ear and eat his children.
