Your the type of dude that lives in a neighborhood and hates on the dude next door cause he's got more **** then you. Give the man some credit he's out there fighting to feed his family.

He got caught by a punch it happens. He needs to work on some head movement and get some bobing and weaving in his game. Fighters like him will always get caught like that if they don't present a harder target to hit coming in. I wouldn't call him elite but he's no bum either.

I think it has to do more with people wanting to kill the "hype machine", than anything else. When you have someone like Kimbo, nice guy or not, who obviously isn't the most skilled guy on the planet, but yet his people are saying stuff like "He'd KO Klitschko in 2" and stuff like that, then I think people have a tendancy to want to see that UNEARNED hype derailed. It's no different than boxing. Look at Khan, Tye Fields, and now Gamboa. They may be nice guys, but there's so much hype about them, and they're getting premium tv spots that they havent earned yet, that people want to see them fail if for no other reason than to shut up the people around them that are spinning all this crap. I bet alot more people were laughing at Gary Shaw last night than were laughing at Kimbo.

of course Kimbo didn't call himself the greatest

but he doesn't have to act like such a tool with the whole refusing to touch gloves + shaving half his upper chest.

granted it's to play off an image

but im tired of hearing about the whole "internet street fighting legend"

in regards to his hype im glad he lost

because the guy acts like he's a world beater just because he beat up a bunch of crack heads on you tube ffs. shaw is to blame mostly, but kimbo ran his mouth like he was this unbeatable force as well so blame them both.

I remember one of the internet videos a few years ago, when it all began. He was a brute and an ****** to be honest. This particular video he was beating up on some kid, who after getting hit wanted to stop fighting and he was forced by Kimbo's cronies to continue fighting and ended up with his eyeball hanging out of his socket.

Trash. I hope he gets KTFO more often.

No one hated Kimbo, they hated the hype. Kimbo's just trying to get his money.

That guy wasnt a kid. It actually turns out (unless ESPN Magazine was lying) that he was a neighborhood hoodlum, and Kimbo shut him up.

I hate him because idiots across the country think he could actually beat quality level fighters/boxers based on him beating up some friends in his backyard. I hate him because he wears a beard the size of the pillow I sleep on to hide a shaky chin. I was glad to see him KO'd in 15 seconds by a nobody with PINK HAIR.

It was not necessarily the person Kimbo that I rooted against, but the Image that Kimbo was portrayed. I know he came from a rag to riches story, but how many other Boxers or MMA fighters have done the same. Those guys though had to go through all the different stages to get to where they are at. Not fight backyard fights and have an intimidating look and then headline cards when they had no business doing so. The whole thing was like a circus act, not really sport, but WWE enertainment.
