Why Does Everyone Root Against Kimbo?

Seriously though. This guy may be the nicest guy ever. Dont judge him by his looks. He always speaks well, he gives his opponents mad credit, he pays homage to the guys who came before him even when they diss him non stop, and he's the 1st one to always say that he's not an elite fighter or doesnt have the skills that the other guys have.

I saw a interview this week where they asked him about how Liddell said that he was garbage and is a overrated street fighter who would get killed by anyone good. He responded by saying that Chuck is a legend who he has learned alot from by watching him fight and he has nothing bad to say about him. This dude is the nicest guy Ive ever seen and people want to see him get killed. I thought even the announcers last night went totally overboard with the loss and they were basically talking trash when he got stopped.

Again, why? Its not like he's this guy that has came in, called all the MMA guys bums, and says that he's the best thing since sliced bread. Its been the exact opposite. I dont get it

Kimbo is a youtube fighter.. that's it. He's a wanna be fighter that gets hyped up and when that happens people don't like it and root against you. Why? Because it's a disgrace to your sport to say that this youtube fighter can beat any real fighter who has been putting in work for years.

i met kimbo when he was up here in newark..he was shopping downtown and i got to kick it with him for a minute...the brothers cool as hell.....and like I said before... hes 3-0... he should be fighting bums...journeymen..washed up champs etc...he got throw to the wolves last night...fighting someone WAYYYY above his skill level and experience level and lost....People say...hes a hype job and the other MMA fighters hate him etc...well dont hate the player hate the game...

when did kimbo ever claim to be a great fighter though? He's no different then guys that go to a bar and start a fight for no reason other than to prove he's the man. Only difference is that Kimbo made some money at it and your hating. He even tried to step it up and be a professional and whats he get for it? Nothing but hate.
