Honestly, I would love to see Sergio Mora against Sergio Martinez. I think it would be a great match up.

Personally, I have Martinez all day. Forrest will likely vacate the title and go for a safer fight, maybe even John Duddy.

Isn't Duddy locked in to a Ronald Hearns fight on HBO in January?

Even if Forrest wins, I have a couple of concerns...

First, the power does not seem to be there anymore. I know he rocked Baldomir and Piccirillo a lot, but... if he still had the power he had in the Mosley fight, Piccirillo would have, for sure, been put to sleep, and Baldomir probably would have been hurt a bit. He was hurt in his next fight against Luciano Perez, which seems to prove the point that Forrest's power is diminished.

Second, can anyone point to a specific fight where we saw how great of a jab Forrest had? I have seen quite a few Forrest fights, and I heard all about how great Forrest's jab was, but... I haven't seen it. It didn't help him against Mayorga or Quartey. It wasn't the weapon that beat Mosley either. It seems to me that Forrest is a right hand fighter, who uses his jab to set it up for the most part. I don't see Forrest's jab as a fightwinner, but that is just me.

I cant believe HBO missed this. Martinez reminds me a lot of Joe Calzaghe. The foot speed, the hands down, quick jabs, southpaw style, charisma. He just has a lot more pop.

I think they were overhyping the **** out of him though. Bunema is no one special. Just a solid fighter. Karmazin was beating him before he got caught. Matthysse? He's been knocked out by everyone.

Not sure but if so that's a pretty weak fight IMO.
