A Sergio Martinez: Cuidate, maricon... Forrest y Bunema no son igual.

Martinez looked great last night. He looked like a world-beater. But Forrest has seen speedsters before - and has demolished guys who are A LOT better than Martinez.

I'm excited to see them fight.

What's your prediction for a Forrest-Martinez bout? I think Vernon's right hand will dominate the fight, and possibly stop Sergio.

Forrest won't fight lefties, and he sure as hell isn't fighting Martinez. He'd be dominated if he were foolish enough to get in the ring with him. If Sergio Mora gave him problems, Martinez will put him through hell. I give Forrest literally no chance. He'll vacate his title before rather than take this fight.

Forrest is getting up there in age and I think he's lost a step or two, I know he had a good performance against Mora but that doesn't tell me too much, if Forrest's jab is still as good as it used to be, he'd be able to control Martinez, a jab would disrupt almost everything Martinez does, so basically, it all depends on how much Forrest has left.

Viper underestimated Mora the first go-round. He learned a lesson, prepped, and dominated him in the rematch.

Forrest is long and will land the right hand that Bunema couldn't land consistently.

Forrest has too many miles on him to handle anyone who moves that well. I wasn't impressed by him in the Mora rematch. Mora had to sweat off two pounds at the weigh in and brought nothing into the ring. If you examine Forrest's record you won't find one win over a decent southpaw. People in boxing know that he fears them and has always been protected from them.

If Forrest ever does fight Martinez, I'll put all my points up against him. It won't even be close.

Did it help or hurt Forrest's cause that Mora had to lose 2 pounds at the weigh-in?

                    I second this.

No news for me, date for unification fight will hardly occur. Forrests been scaping the guy for years.
