so it's just being called historic as a way to hype up the fight and make it seem like the "biggest in the history of the sport"

so im a hater because I find the author referring to a Tour as "Historical" .. a bit silly and mildly humurous

mind you the Author is not talking about an actual fight .. but simply 2 fighters going around from city to city to promote a fight (the promotional tour) he called it Historical, lol.

simple question, WHY is this tour Historical? what's so Historically significant about it?

and cut the crap with "keeping boxing alive" and "MMA taking over" there both tired arguments as even without DLH boxing won't magically "die out" it'll just be covered a lot less

and how does blindly supporting this fight like you HELP boxing?

I've read numerous posts from fellow bxingscene members who openly admit they aren't wild about the fight, yet are buying anyway.

what does Oscar's looks have anything to do with this bout .. that sounds kinda gay man

so wait just cuz I don't like this bout, it automatically means I "must like boring events" who are you to judge? I find Pavlik, Juan Diaz and Cotto to put on enjoyable fights .. and that's just 3. I don't consider Pavlik, Cotto or Juan Diaz to be all that boring.

again idiotic logic to say I like boring events just cuz I don't count down the days in anticipation to DLH-Pac.

and so what if this (DLH-Pac) is star studded and talked about for a while .. that sounds more like a popularity contest then a boxing fight.

the fact that the Author referred to the promotional tour as historic .. can we get back to that, because I still have no idea why a Promo tour for a fight should be listed as historic. Year's from now is Oscar potentially kayoing a man so much smaller going to be looked at as a great fight?

**and for the record the only PPV I ever ordered was The World Awaits, and I haven't bought one since.

other people can spend $54.95 or what ever on PPV's if they want .. kudo's to them. but me no thanks, I see PPV as a rip off especially when HBO will be replaying the fight 1 week later, lol.

and that's got nothing to do with pride, that's more a personal choice of not wanting to spend $54
