Disregarding size, was Manny Pac ever even on Oscars level?

"Pacman was green" is a lame excuse, Not much changed since then in his style, he is still a "walk you down, throw one two and get you off balance fighter" fighter. He might have some more variety now, but Marquez, who is not as good as Oscar, nor does he have oscar's punch, was very effective against him. Prime Oscar would beat Pacman silly, today's Oscar is likely to do so too.
As for skills, they just ain't close, Oscar can do things Manny only seen on videotapes.

I AM gonna give it to Manny though, he CAN dominate against certain styles or lesser opposition. He is also pretty damn fast at going forwards, and can throw a mean flurry.

I cant wait to see the replys because I know the nationality that most visits this site are philipinocchio's
If Pac beats DLH... you idiots will shut your mouth.

lmao pacman is far from that simple he might not be on Oscars level but every fighter who faced him said he is confusing and unorthodox to fight.

a good comparison is wlad and vitali...wlad is predictable and simple same punch combo no hooks...he wins on size most of the time and his jab.

Vitali is complex and unpredictable he has more variety in his style

vitali is unorhtodox coming from kickboxing background, wlad is traditional style.

pacman is also from an unorthodox style.

nothing simple about pacman and morales and pac made it a war in the first fight wasnt like a schooling it was give and take all blood and guts morales just had the stronger will and confidence that night.

his style has changed quite a bit..a lot actually. He went from being a good fighter to being an elite boxer/fighter. he's more accurate, his right hand is much more prominent..he slips punches and throws wicked combinations. Hell, in the second Morales fight if you couldn't tell a difference in his style then I suggest you rewatch the fight. He was ripping off body combinations and snapping his right hook off just as much as his left, he also bulked up a bit to - he looked a little small in the first fight. He's got a very hard rythm to follow.

Saying Oscar was a better boxer than Marquez is arguable. Marquez doesn't do anything wrong, his chin is a little shaky but he makes up for it in heart. I don't know anything that Oscar did in his Prime that Marquez can't do. I actually think Marquez is a more accurate puncher than Oscar to.

You're absolutely correct. Wow, not bad for a GreyAlien. Though I'm not quite as boxing savvy as with most of the posters here, it doesn't take much to notice that the Pacman is much better than say 2-years ago. I question why there is even a need to compare oranges to apples? ODLH and Pacman are different both in style, size, etc. To what level do you want to compare them? Pacman is a good fighter as well as ODLH and both will draw a crowd. So as far as I'm concerned, this is a totally moot issue.

**** like that, it would not roll with Oscar.
i don't know about morales boxing manny's ears off. it was a definite win but it was still close. probably 7-5 on most score cards.

how can you have jmm winning only 1 round? jmm was still collecting himself in the 2nd round. manny won that round for sure.
