I think it's cool how most of the Europeans are rooting for Tarver.

At least that's the way it seems.

Tarver has been in with a much higher caliber of opposition and is a seasoned vet. You don't give him enough credit, southpaw.

Yeah buts hes 40, and Chad has more in his arsenal and has better footwork. Tarver can definitely stop Dawson if he gets him to open up and leave himself vulnerable, but a decision is a bit far IMO. Also, the judges were never too fond of Tarver, so IF it goes to a decision i see them giving it to the younger and more marketable fighter at this point. I understand what you mean though.

i didnt weed thru all of these posts.

i hate betting against tarver.its like betting against hopkins.
but tarvers outragious post fight interviews makes me feel he's on the con.
if i ran a psyscology coarse at a local university i'd use his interviews as
a primer to what a narcissus is like.
      whoa.
but chad, the favorite. i'm a believer. and hope tarver doesnt out fox him.

It means you are biased against Dawson buts that fine, nothing wrong with it because it is your opinion. Dawson is young, has the star quality, can punch, has good boxing ability and is a nice person.

I don't really see a Tarver decision. Either Tarver catches him and stops him or Chad outboxes him and wins relatively easily. I think the latter is significantly more likely.

Difference between Klitschko and Dawson is that Klitschko has found a way to make his defense good enough to protect his chin... Dawson might have, we'll see, but he got hit a ton against Glen Johnson.

I knew exactly where you were going when you first posted the you like x, but don't like x by the way... it wasn't very cleverly hidden.

Yes, Klitschko and Dawson have chin issues... how does Kessler fight into that scheme again?

I think Tarver's best chance is to win by knockout, he can win by decision if he gets Dawson out of this gameplan, he seems to have done this a little because Dawson is unusually animated for this fight.

His defense is good, it's just that Johnson was throwing so many punches that you can't slip them all. Dawson must have thought he was fighting an old man that night, didn't happen.

Most people have said that Tarver's only chance is the left hand from hell, but... I don't know, I can actually see an Antonio Tarver decision win over Chad Dawson.

                    Anyone with me?

Simply no, Tarver can ONLY win this fight by KO. Tarver has been looking like crap since his loss to Hopkins, although he redeemed himself against Woods. Dawson does has defensive problems, but his positives outweighs his negatives, particularly when it comes to hand-speed and combination punching. And besides I'm pretty sure Dawson has been working on his defense in training camp. He'll fix his mistakes, if he doesn't then I see Dawson losing.

No, Kessler does (the poster, not the fighter obviously).
