I was impressed by Chambers long before he fought Povetkin.

One thing we know for sure, you'll never make a positive thread or even a post about an Eastern European fighter. You seem to have hatred for Slavic boxers, as well as for me because of my heritage.

    Who is the real racist?

Chambers is a good fighter, he should try and get back into title contention one of these days.

Chambers should get a rematch with Povetkin, i cannot believe that he would actually stop fighting when hes putting on an absolute boxing clinic. Povetkin had no answer and flu or not, his style is tailor made for Chambers. Him having the flu is just an excuse for why he looked so horrible. Klitschko is going to eat this poor guy alive and I'm not even expecting it to go past 5.

Chambers fought the best he could against Povetkin.

Chambers started off well, but he became overwhelmed by Povetkin's pressure and workrate...He went into a shell in the later rounds because he was hurt and worn down by the accumulation of punches...Chambers didn't have the heart or toughness to man up and trade punches with the tougher, hungrier Povetkin.

Povetkin was very sick and he still clearly won the fight

Chambers has never been known for his work rate. Hell, he even dogged it at times with Calvin Brock.
You just don't do that with Povetkin because he's just going to keep throwing punches.

I think Chambers has some nice speed and skills and really pretty jab, but he fights in spurts too much and takes rounds off.

That's what hurt him in the fight with Povetkin. Povetkin can be hit by the jab but he's not going to sit there and pose for you, he's gonna keep coming.

I don't think Eddie has an answer for that, although in a rematch it might be closer.

lol people keep overrating Povetkin, they act like chambers was really hurt in that fight, chambers would of one that fight if he kept throwing steady combinations, after Povetkin gets koed by vlad, chambers should try to get a rematch with Povetkin.

lol this is pretty much the same post you posted, in another thread about chambers and Povetkin, you love to overrate vlad opponents, anyways chambers beats Povetkin in a rematch.
