He doesn't necessarily need a shrink although it would help. The fight was for the IBF title eliminator and who ever won that fight had to face Wladimir Klitschko next. Neither Chambers or Povetkin is ready to face Wlad, although I would give Chambers a better shot at beating Wlad. And Chambers most likely listened to the criticism and that's why he probably threw the fight away. It was probably a smart move, Chambers gets to avoid Wlad!

My memory isn't too good, but in his one loss against Povetkin couldn't he have beaten him easily if he had thrown more? I can't really remember anything about that fight except me thinking that Chambers could've beaten him... I can remember Chambers starting off well and then just didn't really do anything...I think.
Chambers would likely beat Arreola. I'd like to see that. And I'd pick Chambers over Haye. But there's a reason Povetkin is getting the title shot. He's the best of all the young HWs.Comment

lol Povetkin is overrated a 16 and 0 fighter getting a title shot agaisnt the best heavy weight, he doesnt deserve a title shot with vlad, neither of them do, Povetkin is gonna get what he deserves on dec 13 and thats getting ktfo.Comment

Don't agree there. Povetkin has a bad defense and get's hit a lot. Dude hasn't really been tested by any power and it's gonna show when he fights Wlad. I don't think he's the best among the young heavies, I'm pretty sure dude will lose to Wlad fight some fights after that and lose one of the those and then will drop down in the division.Comment

Best Young HW's
1. Alex Povetkin
2. Alexander Dimitrenko
3. Denis Boytsov
4. Eddie Chambers
5. Chris ArreolaLast edited by WLAD OWNS; 10-05-2008, 03:42 PM.Comment

I thought Povetkin was the next big thing in the heavyweight division? Povetkin is better then I thought and has good skills, but he needs work on his defense. He thought he can get away with getting hit against Byrd who's a light hitter, but when he fought Chambers his left eye was all swollen up. Chambers was nailing Povetkin with hard shots for 5 rounds and hurting him, just imagine what happens if Povetkin faces someone who hits even harder than Chambers?Comment
