Boxing Or Mma?

My friend fought about a week ago in a pro boxing match. my friend had about 5 pro fight's in boxing and the other guy made his pro boxing debut but had more fights in MMA (pro). the aftermath............my friend wins by KO in the first round with 3 knock downs. I'm not saying that boxing is better but what do you guy's prefer. Boxing or MMA?

I prefer boxing by far.

I like some MMA, i think its exciting, but as hard as ive tried i know i will never be able to follow it as a hardcore fan. It just not for me at all. Ill watch it for the KO's. If nobody gets KO'd in the first round i change the channel 9 times out of 10.

MMA is a one hit wonder, its so unpredictable. nobody dominates, everyone loses randomly to random fighters. It's so unproffessional you can't follow the sport. Half the time I only know who one of the fighters are. Boxing has a seasoned heritage that you can follow - making it a true sport. People will get tired of MMA once their favourite fighters keep losing to random bums.
