Ok, so I was wrong. He is not fighting Alphonso Gomez. Is this fight any better? Don't think so. Is he ranked by any other organization? Dont think so. Will he get 4 mill? He probably wont even get 2 for this fight. And he would only get 3 - 4 mill for the Cotto fight. 5 mill total for two fights, or 4 mill+ for one. The "Tijuana Tornado" is nothing more than a depressed tropical storm.

Actually Cotto was at one point told to fight him, but he signed to fight Margarito (IBF champ) at the time and a unification fight holds rank above a mandatory. Margarito dumped the IBF title before the Cotto fight took place.

Exactlymondo, Nuzhnenko is due his chance at the WBA belt, He had to wait for cotto to fight someone else while he had to take other fight to stay busy.

Its good anyway, Margarito wouldnt have to stay inactive or worry about losing before a cotto rematch.

And you refuted or answered which questions? One of those Palin answers huh. Margs is waiting on a Cotto rematch like he made big money off of it; 1.3 mill. It was a good fight, but he is only an Arum puppet. He spoke of wanting the best, but is this guy he is fighting anywhere near that? He hasn't even called anyone out besides DeLaHoya. Talked trash on Oscar but he is avoiding the biggest challenges himself. Let Margs make his money, and his fans need to keep quiet until he is ready to step it up again.
