It has everything to do with it. Sources have to credible. If you dont even think Merchant is a credible source, then your point just dies.Once again you are ******ed. Where did I comment on Floyd and Tony. What the **** does this have to do with that. You're getting desperate now *******.
Hatton is about as relevant since you cried like a girl when he got KOed over Floyd and you just have to bring Floyd up all the time now because you still haven't gotten over it.
Again, inventing stories to suit your argument. Wow. More brownie points. How about you talk about how tall I am again? You're so perceptive.

When the going gets tough, the losers get going.
IMDAZED ran out of irrelevent technicalities to try and pull me up on.
"Clinton Mitchell fought Hopkins at Cruiser - YOU LOSE! YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BOXING. IM THE MAAAAN YEAAAAAH :wank:"
And bsrizpac ran out of inventing stories about my personal life:
"I bet you cry all night about Americans. Cos we rule. AMERICA **** YEAH!!! :wank:"
Im still here saying Roy Jones rarely fought the best. Point still stands.Last edited by Dirk Diggler UK; 10-08-2008, 01:34 PM.Comment

You can't fight everyone. Roy would have gone in a massive favourite and almost certainly beaten any 168 or 175 pounder between 1994 and 2001. This is plain and basic common fkn sense. Anyone who doesn't agree needs to watch more Jones fights.Comment

Ive never argued that. Like I said, I'd pick Jones over the lot. But there are no certainties in boxing.
You cant fight everyone. But you should at least try.Comment

I've always heard the following:
Roy Jones respected and was truth be told a little bit intimidated by Gerald Mclellan, who had always been able to hold his own against Jones in sparring and in the Amateurs, and maybe even hurt Jones a few times.
He thought Gerald would demolish Benn, and after seeing what happened to Gerald he swore off ever fighting Benn
don't know how true but this is what i hearComment

Pretty serious bump, 5 years later
Nigel Benn was my favourite UK fighter bar none back in the day. Roy may have boxed circles around him or Benn may have given him brain damage, It didn't happen, so thats all there is to it
I look forward to the bump in 2018Comment

if you were going to duck a SMW in the 90s, Benn would be on everyones list after McC's accident, and I wouldnt blame anyone for doing that. Benn was mental.Comment
