Umm...you said that the fight was at MIDDLE. I said it was at cruiser. To avoid looking like the dumbass you are, you pointed out an INFACTUAL TECHNICALITY.

Where did I say the fight was at Middle?
Even if I had said that, what the **** relevence does it have other than to be an annoying little pedantic twat who'll argue over the most minute details to try to look clever?Comment

You corrected him saying LHW.
Anyway, I'm not frustrated with anything other than the fact that you two are arguing about nomenclature... it's really neither division, and it really doesn't matter anyway. 177 pounds. That's what matters.
That's all I have to say on this issue.Comment

Bernard may not have been the best MW when he fought Roy but I still don't think Jones gets anywhere near the credit he deserves for that win. People just disregard it and say Hopkins was "green". Whilst BHop may not have been the 100% finished article when he fought Roy he didn't lose a fight for over a decade after that one and put together a record run of MW title defences. Hardly bum material. To add to that Roy cruised to the win with a badly damaged hand.Comment

No. In fact, I'm not sure either one was the best middle. But then again, they weren't at their best either. Hopkins certainly wasn't in his prime and neither was Jones. But they both gave each other an extremely tough fight (for Jones, tougher than any other until the first Griffin fight) and both are highly respectful of the other.
We also know that after Jones vacated the title, Hopkins picked it up and didn't lose again for 12 years. Arguably still hasn't. Jones did a similar thing in the opposite direction. In other words, they went on to become the two best fighters from 160-175.Comment

Hopkins is an excellent win in retrospect I agree. But my point was that he wasnt the best at the time which is kinda the point to the debate we're having here.....I think!

No, I corrected him saying middle and then he incorrectly corrected me for saying cruiser. Hmm, wonder why you didn't jump up and down over him arguing a technicality...where he was wrong. You corrected him saying LHW.
