The only time they spoke of Jones moving up when he was at 168 was to say he could possibly go to heavyweight...and that was when he fought that bald headed chump he stopped in three.

But never. And if it was at 160 and they said he should move up...that would mean they RECOGNIZED the good fighters at 168, no?
It took them a decade to take any notice of Calzaghe so what Badge is saying aint exactly that farfetched

He ****** compared to the guy you build him up to be. Collins and Eubank were better in the same country and era. And, so? What now? What do you have to say now to contradict yourself this time? I told you who I chose to believe. That is Roy. Seemed more likely in my opinion. Either way, your point means jack crap considering that you even said Benn would have gotten stopped. I know he would have. Jones was unbeatable in his prime. He barely ever got hit and almost never lost rounds after the Hopkins fight. That includes in the Toney fight. (BTW, Toney was light years better than anyone you mentioned at SMW. Period. It is opinion, but probably 90% of boxing fans would agree.)
Grab a tampon you slag. I feel like im arguing with my bird.

Yeah but Calzaghe hardly went out his way to grab their attention either! He could have went to America to fight long ago but chose to stay fighting in UK! I'm not knocking that decision but you can't complain about Americans not recognising you when you make no effort to fight over there and grab their attention!

Actually Americans DID recognize him. He had a contract with Showtime nearly RIGHT after he won his first title. The same place, where you could watch Nigel Benn? LOL. And Calzaghe was rated #1 or #2 at SMW by every US publication since he won the SMW title as well. Maybe we should've given him a big teddy bear and then his fans would feel he was recognized.

He didnt "choose not to". Who was he supposed to fight in America? He signed to fight Hopkins in America but we all know what happened there.

And I didnt realise boxing only occured in America.

The fact that 99% of your boxing journo's picked Lacy to destroy him would suggest they weren't quite paying that much attention.

It doesn't only occur in America but America has a bigger boxing market than UK IMO. Fights seem bigger when they are held in America as oppose to fights in UK IMO.

Sorry didn't know that. I only really started getting in to boxing 3 or 4 years ago and like finding out history of it to better educate myself!

Not much point debating this further, so I won't, except from to say that I'm 100% certain that it happened like I said, in reference to opponents at 168.

If it's a dream, then so be it, stranger things have happened.
