I think that he can definately shake Joe up a bit, Joe's got a pretty good chin, but if Hopkins put him down, so can Roy, he's faster and has been fighting at 175 much longer.
I doubt it'll be from one shot, but if Roy can hit him clean enough, his speed and power together will give Joe problems. -

I think, at any weight, fighters can always find that punch that can hurt their opponent. I don't think however, that Roy can drop him for good with one shot, just isn't going to happen. Nor do I feel Joe can do the same thing. I think, in the later rounds, the stamina issue will take effect thus taking ALOT off of Roy's punches. I think Joe's power will be consistant and, again, in the later rounds, take there toll on Roy. (This is all based on how things SHOULD go in this fight - I think Roy will suprise us though!) Roy HAS the power to knock him out, I just don't think it's going to happen given how he looked in his last few fights and his age. Joe HAS the power to KO Roy, but given his hand issues and his age as well, I don't think it's going to happen. If I was Roy, and this is purely my opinion, I would take every round and make it a war. Negate Joe's strengths and turn it into a street fight. No KO in this fight but I will be rooting for Roy to give it hell!Comment

I think it will be his speed more than his power. I could see Jones dropping Calzaghe at some point in the fight, but ultimatly Joe wins it for me...Comment
