    It's over for B-Hop
This might be the first KO loss of his career, If this goes the distance I'll have greater respect for Hopkins though

So you think that lasting the distance with Kelly Pavlik, the brand new champion of a division Hopkins ruled for years, would be a major achievement for the never-been-stopped Hopkins who until recently was regarded as the best LHW in the world?

good luck to Hopkins if he wins but I hope it's a brutal KO for Pavlik...someones gotta rid the boxing world of Hopkins...hes boring as **** to watch and is costing us fans PPV dollars by fighting fighters that we actually want to see and making them look crap by wrestling and sitting on the ropes...**** the guys made enough cash F U C K off already.

I don't think there will be a ko. in the fights pavlik has won by decision they were all above 160. so im not sure if he carries that same power above the weight or bigger fighters take his punches better.

I really can't see Pavlik ko'ing Hopkins. I think sometimes people overestimate Pavlik as the perfect boxer and an absolute killer. I think Pavlik will beat Hopkins slightly better than Calzaghe did but then again Joe didn't use the best gameplan of just figuring things out once he was in there and took 3-4 rounds to get going although in my opinion B-Hop will make Pavlik miss just as much as he made J.Cal miss. He may be old but he'll be ready to go 12 rounds again.

hopkins will not be ko d or even knocked down..he knows how to tie up..stall ..elude with the best of em....i look for popkins to pull out the trick book and do the slingshot headbutt clinches off the ropes...lead headbutts followed by overhand rights...elbows..everything pavlik really hasnt been dragged through yet

First to answer your question: yes. Why? Because Hopkins is 43 years old. He is definitely out his prime. His last 2 showings has confirmed that, especially in his last fight with your boy Joe. He has slowed down considerably and his ouput has degraded to about a 10 punch/round average.
Now at 43 and considerably past his prime, if goes the distance with a dangerous high output devasting puncher, 17 years younger than him, who is in his prime... that speaks volumes IMO

of course you are... because if he wins then that makes your boy's victory over him seem better than it actually was. In addition, that would justify Joe retiring w/o fighting a young lion like Pavlik, who's been very vocal about fighting Joe

Hopkins cant knock Pavlik out with a single punch and he doesen't throw enough to win a decision.

Hopkins will probably land the three best punches of the fight and lose 9 rounds to 3.
