i say he was overrated because many touted him as a great champion...sure he didnt want any part of Morales, JMM and only took on MAB after his loss to El Terrible...that doesnt default to losses in those bouts since he had more than a punchers chance...

he's overrated in this fight fan's book because as a 'great' champ that his followers hailed him, he never came back to redeem himself...and if he did lose his 'heart' by the time he fought MAB, then that's another trait of 'non-greatness'

you make your mark in Europe, you invade the US and if you fail, you try to redeem yourself...i have more respect for Hatton who didnt bow out after his first defeat..he has more claim to greatness than Naz...
Its cool to say that brits move to US then get exposed, but didn't Naz fight many times at the US before Barrera beat him?

that wasnt the point i was making chief...no offense but there was nothing to prove for Naz in Europe...you wont find too many Kevin Kelleys or MABs in the UK...my point was he was finally found legit, legacy-defining fighters out here and at his first failed attempt, he closed the show...no redemption, only retirement...i thought the Calvo bout was a tune-up for his return but that was nothing
