Your buddy egreezy used the term "exposed". EIther way you are both implying an easy victory for Chad if he was to fight Calzaghe. You can talk about confidence from beating Tarver or whatever you like but it doesn't change the fact that Dawson having an easy time with Joe is a completely ridiculous notion.
Does the magic man still have it?

As for Tarver I don't know what to say about him, he's getting older, and has regressed, not the fighter he used to be 4 years ago, but then again he started his career late. It all depends which fighter shows up, if Tarver and Dawson both show up 100% it's going to be one hell of a fight.
My biggest concern is Dawson himself. From what I've seen he's actually regressed since leaving Mayweather Sr. And it's not like Dawson needs Mayweather Sr. because he looked good under Dan Birmingham and IceMan John Sully, (his other previous trainers) but Mayweather Sr. had Dawson fighting the way he's suppose to be fighting, using the jab, head movement, and fighting intelligently. Mayweather Sr. likes to work on head movement and defense, something Dawson needs to improve on. This is really a 50/50 fight.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 10-02-2008, 01:41 AM.Comment

I just really hope Eddie Muhammad fixes Dawson's mistakes, (mainly his defense) and gets back to form offensively, because if he doesn't Dawson could lose this match.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 10-02-2008, 01:54 AM.Comment
