Does the magic man still have it?

Does Tarver still have what it takes to take out the young Dawson? What do you guys think? I was not very impressed with Dawsons win over Glen so I feel if Tarver still has some of his tricks he should be able to win this thing.

I had it pretty similar at 7-5 Dawson, but I was expecting a lot more from Dawson.

Well Tarver is a 2.7-1 underdog, so I dont know about that.

I'm really excited about this fight. Antonio Tarver is brimming with confidence and I thought he looked sharp against Woods. Dawson looked good too IMO. A bout with Glen Johnson will always be a war and, for a boxer, I thought Dawson did reasonably well. Johnson's no slouch.

But I think Tarver said it best after those fights - Dawson may be a wounded duck. Furthermore, his chin is no longer a question mark. It's officially suspect. And Antonio Tarver isn't the remedy. Dawson will box but he'll have to hurt Tarver if he expects to win. He should go to the body early and often. And move. I think he can do that for 12 rounds but he's shown a propensity to brawl. That would be a serious, serious mistake against a guy like Tarver. Unfortunately for Dawson, the smart money is that he makes that mistake.

Yeah Im pretty psyched about this one too, I just cant make up my mind about it. Tarver sounds real convincing that hes figured out how to beat Dawson, Im just not sure if he still has the goods. Last time Tarver was this confident he KOd Roy, so Im anxious to see what happens.

Yeah, I'm real interested in seeing how Tarver reacts to Dawson's lefty style. He didn't look too hot against Eric Harding for about 14 rounds before landing that huge left.
