    He would have been TERRIBLE. What made Hamed so great to begin with? It was his unorthdox southpaw stance that he'd punch from all different angles with his hands low. He made his opponents uneasy because they didn't know where he'd be launching from and he got more power by able to haymaker his shots practically. I think if he'd have his hands up, his entire style would have changed and woulda been ineffective. I don't he would have made it to the Barrera fight the same way.

      you still dont knock people out like Hamed did if you are not one of the biggest punchers ever

      Herol Graham was not a puncher and he punched from the same crazy angles and held his hands low infact Hamed's style is based on Graham's

            Considering hamed was never stopped, I'm not sure how much difference him keeping his hands up really would have made. However, had he been in general better schooled technically rather than just relying on his power and talent, then he might not have got outboxed by Barrera and hence had a better career.

              If he had a game B that night he fought Barrera he may of been alright..
