The fact that he held his hands low added to his style. He'd lure people in with his exposed chin and then spark them on the counter. So no, not at all. His style relied heavily on his reflexes.

you have point but i think Barrera still beats him

however i think Hamed has enough natural strength to KO people no matter what look at what he did to Kevin Kelly only a select few people are able to KO their man when they are forced back onto the back foot that IMO tells you they are a true puncher

you are right to think Hamed kept his hands low and that helped him use his weight better for leaverage which he would find it more difficult to do out of a conventional stance with his hands up
