The thing that would settle all of this would be same day weigh ins. Most of these bigger WW's come in on fight night weighing anywhere from 160 on up. That should not be allowed. For Williams fight with Margarito, he rehydrated 17 lbs!! Thats is something that should be looked at. I think that rehydrating helps guys out, but I dont think they should be allowed to rehydrate over 5 lbs past the weight they are fighting at. I think that is something the commisions should look at.

Cotto put on so many pounds after the weigh-in HBO stopped weighing him.

Don't put it all on Williams...Cotto was the biggest drainer in boxing.

I think its a bit naive to say that Paul Williams isn't a business fighter like everyone else. He didn't want a Tony rematch until after he beat Cotto.

I like both guys myself. However, it was the Mayweather crew who started all this "he needs to fight guys his own size" bullschit regarding Tony. Now that Mayweather is retired, they've become Williams stans.
