If I were in campbell's team I would take this deal to help myself out not Guzman. There have been too many cases where a party wins a judgment and never get to see a penny because of the lack of an entity whom devote their resources for the purpose of collecting judgments awarded by the court. I know the courts are suppose to take on that role but the reality is that besides garnishing wages and seizing real estate or anything else that can be of significant value the courts have their hands tied. Who knows if Guzman ever fights again. I believe he will but how much is he going to be making now since he's an unranked hot potatoe that no tv exececutive want to touch. He might not even have any assest as far as were concern...These are all legit question IF Campbell wins the civil suit. If I were Campbell I would take the sure money and then destroy Guzman in the ring.Comment

Also question Terry, if Nate has to fight Fuenka, the IBF #1 mandatory, what about the WBO 15 because I don't think Funeka is ranked anywhere near the WBO. Does that mean Nate loses the WBO belt? At least I don't think funeka is ranked in there anyway. I could be wrong.Comment

Whatever. Both Jon Lewis and Patrick Turner from the Miss. Commission told me SPECIFICALLY that the doctor examined Guzman, and CLEARED HIM TO FIGHT. Guzman himself elected not to fight. Anyone can call the Miss. commission themselves if they want to independantly verify this.
Why are you acting like such an ignorant ass? Your arguement that Nate is "scared" is the dumbest thing I've heard all year. If you were there, then you heard Nate say "i don't care if he's 138, or 158, I want that ass". Are those the comments of a "scared" fighter? I think not.
And I have something for you to enjoy as well. Enjoy the next 2 years waiting for Guzrun to get back on tv again.

No, Funkea is fine with the WBO. Typically, the sanctioning bodies will respect each others mandatories, as long as they are not due at the same time. For example, Guzman was not ranked by the IBF, but they were ok with Nate fighting him because he was the WBO mandatory, and Nate's IBF mandatory was not yet due.Last edited by OnePunch; 10-05-2008, 03:26 PM.Comment
