if Barrera could keep Arguello turning he could win the fight Arguello did not cope well at all with lateral movement and Boxers and while i realise Mab is no SRL he is a good boxer who has used lateral movement effectively in the past to win his fights

then again Arguello hits like mule and can go 15 rounds with ease let alone 12 and he can knock you out in the 13th or 14 th round and his right hand is as straight as an arrow and if Marco had one major flaw its that when he got into exchances sometimes he would punch around instead of down the middle that is how Junior Jones beat him by punching straighter and shorter Jones said this himself

Barrera is one of my AT Favourite fighters but i also have a lot of respect for Arguello he was a great fighter i got Arguello decision

That's cool. I'm not sure I've seen many fighters who were more technically correct than Arguello. MAB had a great deal of boxing ability sure, but I don't think he was in Arguello's league. Barrera's only chance in this fight would have been to turn it into an absolute war, and I think Arguello had way too much pop for MAB to effectively be able to do that.

Barrera was actually pretty technical in his later years, I wouldn't write him off. He beat 5'8 Morales in his Prime.

Pretty even fight for the first couple of rounds, then Arguello takes over. Barrera gets pissed and fouls Arguello leading to a DQ. If not Arguello wins a decision.

I acknowledged MAB had a great deal of technical ability, I am in no way trying to discredit MArco, he is one of my all time favourite fighters. I just don't think he had the technical ability to hang with Arguello if it became that kind of fight. Alexis was the master. I still think MAB's only chance would have been to brawl, and Arguello was too strong to lose that type of fight to Barrera in my opinion.
