seriously what is he good at he has a high workrate and a decent chin and he has physical advantages in height and reach but apart from that he has a poor defence he is not a big puncher at all when you consider he is probably a 154/160lbs fighter he is not a very intelligent fighter either and he proved his limitations by getting his ears boxed off by Quintana first time around

Williams is not a great Boxer either

Williams is still a work on progress. The final product is not out yet and will not be out in 147 but he will still clean the division. After he cleans up 147 and 154, we will start to see the real Williams.

did anybody see how Margarito was tagging Williams on the chin in the 11/12 th round of their fight and how Quintana was hammering him **** on the chin he lets his defences down like that against a real 160lbs fighter he is getting KTFO for sure

I'm waiting to see more, because Williams keeps surprising me. He doesn't seem to be especially skilled or fluent, but he did show good speed and boxed a smart fight against Marg. I thought he'd gone insane when he then lost Quintana and tried to walk him down, because I was sure he couldn't punch, but then he comes back with two KO1 victories, which whatever the standard of opposition is pretty impressive for a guy I thought was feather fisted!

I don't think he's anything truly special, but I suspect he might be able to beat all the other welters, which whatever he looks like is a pretty good achievement! I think he might make a credible MW too, but he is pretty easy to hit and that might cause him problems at that weight.

Williams & Margarito are both ordinary, they just have exploits that most fighters dont..
