What do you like about Joe Calzaghe?

I'll say his speed. I can't say i'm a fan of the guy but i have to admit he's good at what he does. I don't like the way he throws his "punches" but hey, he wins like that so he must be doing something right. I also like that he is a southpaw, and a good one at that, but that's just because i am one myself.

I like his hand speed and adabtability. I also like his attitude to the sport. He's a pretty chilled guy whom is just doing a sport he's good at. He doesn't generally say really harsh personal things to guys just to hype a fight. Admittedly lately he's said some things of Hopkins and Pavlik, but their still not that personal or bad.

I like the fact he's stuck by his dad and trainer over the years despite advice to get a pro in. He has faith in his trainer, team, training methods and abilities, and he takes everything into the ring and never runs. Have to admire those attributes which are key to his success in never losing.

There are alot of fighters past and present i would prefer to watch over Calzaghe But You just gotta give it to Calzaghe ,love him or hate him hes achieved more than enough to be an Hall Of Famer !
In ten years he made 21 Title defenses capturing all 4 belts whilst beating 8world champions !
He also moved up and beat Hopkins for the Light heavyweight ring belt !
I think its silly to say hes not an hall of Fame fighter ! and if you are saying hes not then your opinion is dubious IMO!
