NO this a fight that was motivated with money. Pac never thought that a fight with hoja would happen. hoja just happens to have the resorces needed to make people greedy and accept anything for money!!! Tony would have fought hoja for FREE. BUT some fighters just don't have the GUTS to commit themselves against fighters there own weight!!!

The Giants were supposed to have 0 chance of beating the Patriots in the superbowl too. Y'all underestimate the punching power of Pacquiao. Yes im aware Oscar's never been knocked down getting hit by much bigger guys but the pacman will turn all you haters into believers dec 6th

if pac can stick and move for 12 rounds without brawling then he has a chance to win a ud. it's not easy chasing a little guy around the ring, oscar will be huffing and puffing after 6 rounds. oscar isn't fast like he used to be and pac won't be there exchanging with him.
i think pac's game plan for this fight is to out point oscar and not beating him.

Pacquiao has always been a slugger. He might have developed some boxing skills under Roach but he still always goes for the KO. I dont think he will change the way he fights just because his opponent is Dela hoya. This fight is just a horrible mismatch. Manny should've stayed at 135.

Pacquiao have a chance of course, even if it is very slim.

It will all come down to who ever sticks to their own game plan. If Pacquiao have a very good game plan and sticks with it, he might just be able to pull an upset; if Oscar sticks to his, nighty-night Pacquiao.

Buster Douglas wasn't really a bum, he was a quick fighter with a good jab, prototypical of the type of fighter who could beat tyson, plus he outweighed him by 20 pounds, this is entirely different you ******.

Pacquaio needs to be fighting the likes of GUZMAN or CAMPBELL or juan DIAZ, because I like pacquaio as a fighter but de la hoya is really going to beat the **** out of him, this will be ugly just like the JULIO CHAVEZ fight
I disagree. I actually think it'll be competetive until Oscar starts landing his hook. It wouldn't even surprise me enormously if Pacman stuns, or even puts Oscar on his shorts once, early...you've got to remember, that lead straight left of Manny's is a formidable weapon, without which he would be nothing more than mediocre. If he were conventional rather than southpaw, he'd be good, but not great. His conditioning is great, he's a heavy hitter with fast hands, but his claim to fame is definitely his southpaw stance coupled with his lightning-fast straight left. And even with the size difference, I think he can catch and hurt Oscar with it. Problem is, Oscar has a great chin, so the chance of a KO win by Manny is very slim. Not completely out of the realm of possibilities, but I wouldn't bother putting even a sawbuck on it, especially with all the Pacman fans running the odds back to his favor. On the bright side, Oscar might not be as huge a favorite as he'd otherwise be because of this, and if I can get even remotely close to even odds, I'll probably put five grand on him.

Most of it's not ****-talk, it's just reasonable analysis. Oscar is an excellant fighter with quick hands and 1-punch power, Manny is hittable, and he's too small. There is always the possibility of an upset, but I honestly don't think it'd be by a decision, unless Oscar just completely gasses after mid-rounds, and even then I'd look for it to be a KO win for Manny.

If Manny pulls off the win, good for him, but it's not like the possibility isn't there, it's just that it's highly unlikely. Smart money goes on Oscar by KO, after 7.

It's a possibility. Soon as I get more points, no problem.
