Steve Forbes Can't Box For ****!

LOL, well done Berto for beating someone as **** as Forbes.

    Look at his record lmao

1-4 in his last 5 fights. The only win there being an SD over a guy who was 18-2-0.

The last time Forbes won a clear win over someone was over 2 1/2 years ago.

So Berto, you got the belt, now stop beating on bums

Now if my name was say ILoveBoxing, and I didn't have any pics of a favourite fighter in my avatar or sig, what would people do then.

People forget, I can take critism against Calzaghe, otherwise I wouldn't base my screen name on him and have him in my avi/sig.
      Lmao, suck it.

Well "that guy" he beat was Panchito Bojado and hes a very good fighter.

          but.........

Bojado was clearly waaaaaaaay out of shape for that fight AND I still think Bojado deserved the decision.

          but........

Forbes was robbed blind against Demetrius Hopkins.

Forbes is a pretty good fighter but hes nothing special.

Urm,the last person to face Forbes before Berto was boxings biggest name,De La Hoya,so how can u give Berto a hard time for fighting Forbes in his first defense, when quite clearly,he wouldent of got the big names like Margarito or Cotto anyway

Because it's clear that he doesn't watch a lot of boxing.

forbes is a good fighter. he really should be fighting down at 140 these days, but has big balls and will fight wherever. he is not elite, but a solid fighter, and a warrior. stop hating on the man.

berto has increased his competition with every fight... he is just now starting to get into the upper echelon of fighters... Forbes was a better fighter than all the fighters Berto had faced before, and theres no doubt in my mind that his next opponent will be better than Forbes.

Berto is fast as hell, but still has issues with consistency. A lot of those fast combos he was throwing weren't landing flush until the later rounds. His stamina seems to be in tact, but I wonder how he'll react when he steps in with a harder puncher because Berto still leaves his hands down after his 3-4 hit combos.

He's got promise though, but I still don't think he's ready for the elite dogs yet. Collazo is a good step up in comp for sure. I'll be looking forward to that.
