Do you respect a retired undefeated boxer more than a fighter with a few defeats?

You shouldn't judge a fighter if he has 3-4-5-6-7 losses. I think people should judge them for who they fought. Losses is not everything.

It depends. One single factor such as 'being undefeated' is not enough to judge a career on, there are a host of factors to consider. Who the fighter fought, what level they fought at, how and who the fighters we are comparing them to lost their fights, etc etc.

So no, I consider a fighters carer as a whole before deciding how much I respect them, not focus on one isolated statistic.
