terrible logic. Kessler's the reason Mudine is no longer at Super Middle, and stands in Jermain's way at 168.

*JT doesn't have to go for Kessler, if both keep winning it's inevitable that they'll meet sometime down the line

plus with Froch, Pascal, Inkin, Bute-Andrade

both will clean up and I think we'll see Kessler-Taylor in 2-3 fights time.

It seems that Taylor will have to take a pay cut to fight someone like Froch or Inkin, and probably against Bute as well.
I believe HBO would air Taylor/Kessler. Would be a no-brainer if Kess had come here and KO'd Miranda in Abraham's place, though. I'm sure HBO would prefer to wait for both to rack up several more wins though, and make it a unification bout.

I'd only be guessing as to what kind of pay cut Taylor would have to take against Bute, if any, much less Froch or Inkin.

You said that Taylor could clear out a division because Mundine was a belt holder. I pointed out the ******ity of such logic.

If you wanted to say something else, you should've done so.
Yes, If Mundine can win a title in SMW Taylor will clean out the division. The example you used back fired because no fighter in SMW was good as those fighters you named.

but Mundine's Super Middle belt run was ended by Kessler.

do you see Taylor beating Kessler?

Expect Taylor to move up to LHW to fight some yanks. He'll probably duck the euro-gang.

              No.

What you were doing is judging an entire division based upon one belt holder who won a vacant title and then gave it up before facing anyone decent.

The fact is that you cannot judge the best in the division simply by looking at its 5th or 6th best fighter. Do you understand that?

He could by simply becoming the mandatory for their title just like the prospects. He is also still very marketable so i don't see a problem with any of the organizations ranking him in their top 10. He would struggle with Bute and would lose to Pavlik( if he officially moved up in weight) again , but i would favor him over Inkin and Kessler for sure.

I don't think the winner of Froch/Pascal will make Taylor their first defense for the title. This will probably be the only chance either men will have at the top, so risking it in their first defense against arguably the best SMW in the world is not good business.

Kessler is the only real danger for Taylor at this moment, and the only man i see giving him a tough time, but if he can land a shot against any of the others (Inkin/Bute/Froch-Pascal), then i think it's fair to say the US would have another titlist.

Kessler/Taylor would be the biggest match-up in the division, and one i would like to see above all others for SMW.

Mundine was ranked 3rd behind Kessler and Calzaghe before he moved down to MW. Also a division with lacy in the top 10 is laughable
