    You can't really believe that.

Also, I believe they were the "Unified rules", which states, as Sweet Revenge says, that you canNOT be saved by the bell in any round.

Mayorga was fading fast, and the Ko was no surprise. He was in better shape than I expected him to be. I figured he'd be on the canvas by the 8th.

Yea..They planned a double KD at 2:45 of the 12th round. The 2nd KD (KO) was planned for 2:59.

I have no problem with the stoppage. It took a while for Mayorga to get up and shake off the cobwebs. That final punch was wicked. And about Mayorga giving him the KO, he probably got a great sense of the clock giving it away with a second left...lol. Nah... I don't think there's a need for that kind of talk. It makes boxing look worse than it really is.

A lot huh? Let's see: Trinidud and Dee La Hoya. Hmmm, two whole people. Wow, that sure is A LOT of times.

When they showed the slow-mo on HBO, it looked like a legitimate KO with sweat raining from Mayorga's head. But in real speed, the knockdown looked su****ious with the referee immediately stopping the fight. It would not surprise me if it was fixed because Mayorga has been a stepping stone throughout his career according to HBO.

I dunno why people think that was a fix. Mayo coulda possibly won that fight had he not gotten KO'd. I think a ballsy trash talker like him has a bit too much pride to take a dive.

I thought that as well. The refs are always in on rigged fights too. That ref knew he had to stop the fight immediately before time expired. Everyone keeps thinking that it was real because it looked legit. Thats part of Mayorgas job. To let himself get knocked out or go down even if doesnt have to. Same thing happened in DLH's fights. I can smell staged fights from thousands of mile away.

Yea...Actually both fights last night were a bit of a let down. Berto so frustrating to watch him have Forbes cowered in a shell with the ref zooming in, only to have Berto just stop and look at Forbes until Forbes was set again.
