My only gripe is that Mayorga could have been saved by the bell in the 12 round, and it appeared to me that the ref waved it off a second after the bell rang. It should go in the books as a UD win for Mosley, not a TKO. Though I agree that Mayorga was done, but no more done than Allan Green was against Edison Miranda when the bell rescued him in Puerto Rico.

The only thing I regreted was that the fight was not a 15 rounder so I could see Mosley beat up Mayorga some more.

BTW, as far as I remember it was that you cant be saved by the bell in ANY round in the rules for that fight.

I gotta look into that, I know that unified rules say that you cannot be saved by the bell in any round, whereas California rules dictate that only in the 12th can you be saved. Even still, if it was called correctly the time of stoppage would be 3:00 of the 12th.

Inconsequential considering that the right man won.
