I thought the knockdown wasn't legit either. And even less when the ref waved it off instead of giving him an 8 count which Mayorga would have got up. It was a fair fight but the ref ****ed up in not giving a count.

The guy fell back down after getting hit once..The ref has no regard for what time is left but for the safety of the fighter..Mayorga fell back arms wide open and eyes closed..

He needed medical attention to make sure he is ok..an "8 count" could be critical to the damage that there could've been..

Kinda like the Chavez-Taylor I fight..he was out on his feet..regardless of the time..

So Mayorga makes Mosley look horrible with his clinching and mauling for 11 rounds then takes a dive in the 12th to make Mosley look good?

If it was a dive, the fight would've been over earlier.

Not in the last second of an ugly fight that everyone thought was one of Mosley's worst performances.

Look at the impact of that punch, Mosley's short left hook is his most powerful punch and Mayorga was already out of it. Sure looks like a dive to me...

He was already going to loose on points on all three fights. Yesterdays dramatic KO was soooo planed out to happen in the final secs of the fight. Its like if you want to look good to set up fights, you pay Mayorga to take a fall. I cant keep watching fights if they are going to keep planning them out. This happens all the time with alot of other fights. If im going to watch an act then Ill just start watching WWF. They are called professional boxers not professional actors.
Sorry that was one of the worst conspiracy theories ever from an idiot.

bad style? mayorga was the perfect style for mosley. He was supposed to make mosley look like the mosley of old. You couldn't have found a better style for mosley to face.

Mosley doesn't really have a forceful jab and therefor can't keep Mayorga away.
Because someone doesn't have much skill doesn't mean that their style or (lack) of style I should say doesn't present a difficult match up.
Vernon Forrest is a much better fighter and he couldn't get past Mayorga.

Mayorga is similar to Juan Roldan who gave tough fights to both Hearns and Hagler.

He was doing a good job at putting that 10 lb weight advantage to use with his clinching and mauling tactics.
Mayorga weighed as much as Pavlik did in his fights against Miranda, Taylor and Lockett.

Mosley has obviously slowened down, this was evident even in the Cotto fight but it doesn't mean that Shane can't fight anymore. I would prefer him to retire but he isn't a Holyfield yet.

Yeah, Mosley is not a power puncher at 154. The fact that he KO'd a bigger stronger man is awesome. You are taking credit away from a man because his power is less effective at a higher weight. Mosley is not the ferocious fighter he was a decade ago. He should have never fought at 154. Yeah he has fared somewhat well but he has become an accumulation puncher at 147(he was devastating at 135 though), let alone 154.

Mosley is strong but he isn't a power puncher and I have always felt that way about him at 147. He has pop but by no means is he a one punch artist.

You are comparing Tito and Oscar to him. Both have the power to KO in one punch. That is ridiculous.

Get a job. You are as you put it thinking to much.

lmao Mosley would have lost a decision to a fighter who smokes 60 **** a day! When he's not training!

The Ko could have been avoided imo, it was almost as if he braced himself for the shot before it happened.

I don't think it can be stage dhtough, the timing would have been too risky, I mean 1 second opf the end lol.
