it's no secret mayorga is used by boxers to look good. A good boxer always beats a slugger. But i found it funny you think it's planned out lol. Not even close bro you're reaching.

This is nothing new in boxing. Sometimes a guy comes along who for whatever is perceived as elite but really isn't. Casual fans are slow to catch onto this and that fighter becomes the go to guy when other fighters want a bankable win in which they can look impressive. Jeff Lacy is about to fulfil this function for Jermain Taylor, and this was the role that Tito Trinidad filled when he faced Roy Jones. Sad.

After watching that fight last night it was clearly evident that Shane is close to being shot, even though Mayorga sucks he hung in there and did his usual clownery and disrupted Shane's style all night making the fight really painful to watch after the 3rd round. If it weren't for the late KO the fight was pretty much a back alley fight.

I honestly think it was just a bad style match up for him..
perfect example of what they mean by styles make fights.

I agree but Mayorga made Oscar and Trinidad looks mighty good, why not Mosley? I like Mosley and respect him tons but the man is one foot close to being shot.

A lotta fights are designed for a guy to look good. Mayo has the power to threaten anyone, no defense, and a style/personality that makes for excitement, so he's a great "look good against" opponent. I wouldn't go so far as to say his losses have been staged tho.

I agree with all the above. Mosley struggled too much with a fighter who should have been made to order for him. HBO can gloss over it, but it was an ugly fight with an exciting finish.

I spend my daily life thinking and trying to decypher many different aspects of this world. I study many things that you have never even thought of. What do you spend your daily life thinking about? What girl should you try to get with next? What ur going to do this weekend? When u have to pay ur cell phone bill? One of the subjects ive put much thought into is the marvelous world of showbiz. Where anything is possible for the outcome of income. Is a planned fight not possible? You put me in front of a situation in life and let me do my observing and I will spot many things that the common person would not. Every frame of the situation will tell me something that is meant to be hidden. So im telling you, all three of those fights, Mayorga lets himself hit by punches and falls when his body doesent even want to.
