Berto can beat Clottey. PW will eventually move up to 160 before they ever meet. Berto can have Margarito at the end of the year if all goes plan. Who knows how Berto will be good by then.

Cotto, Pwills, Margarito would all knockout or stop berto at this point in berto's career. I would say clottey could stop berto too but Clottey doesn't really punch hard at all, he holds back way too much or maybe just isn't that strong of a puncher? Clottey by decision against Berto.

Both are counter punchers so it'll be a difficult fight for both men. It'll be battle of the right hands between the 2. Clottey waits too much for his opponent to tee off 1st using his Winky-like guard. I'm taking Berto on decision and if that fight happens we can bet pts. on it. I can see it be a close fight similar to Winky/Taylor.

How so? Because he won a belt fighting Mikki Rodriguez(who wasn't a champ to begin with)? Berto's chin is suspect, Cosmo knocked him down pretty good. I think the belt saved Berto if I remember correctly.

Its how he goes about it wen he fights the likes of Cotto, Clottey, Marg, PW. Plus he seems to be the type of boxer that can adapt to his opponent's style. While the rest of the elite seem to stick to their strengths on what works best for them. And thats why I say Berto can only get smarter. How he displays that intelligence, reading/studying his opponents more remains to be seen.
